Is hospice right for you?
Choosing hospice means choosing to optimize the quality of life. Our priority is to minimize the symptoms of the disease and keep you and your loved one comfortable.
It is an affirmation of the meaning of life, not giving up on it. It allows optimizing the time you have, controlling symptoms, and doing what needs to be done.
For the families and caregivers, hospice provides the support and training to deal with the crisis that is often part of the transitional phase of your life cycle.
Who pays for hospice?
Hospice services are covered by Medicare and Medi-Cal, 100%. Additionally, most insurance companies include hospice as a covered benefit.
